DisplayPort-kabel ProXtend DP1.2-005W 5 m — DisplayPort 1.2, wit

ProXtend DP1.2-005W is a 5-meter white DisplayPort cable that complies with the DisplayPort 1.2 specification. It provides a single-cable solution for transmitting high-bandwidth digital video and audio between DisplayPort-equipped source devices — such as desktop computers and laptops — and displays, projectors or docking stations. The extended length supports setups where the display and source are separated by several meters, while the white jacket integrates discreetly into light-coloured environments.

Advantages

The cable supports DisplayPort 1.2 capabilities, enabling high-resolution video and multi-channel audio transmission over a single connection. Its 5 m length reduces the need for signal extenders in many home and office layouts. A durable outer jacket and secure connector design provide stable contact and help maintain consistent signal integrity over the full cable run. The white finish offers a neutral appearance for consumer and professional installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops and laptops to monitors and projectors in home and office environments
• Workstations where a longer cable run is required without intermediate signal conversion
• Conference rooms and classroom setups requiring tidy white cabling
• Docking stations and multi-monitor setups that accept DisplayPort input

Key specifications

• Interface standard: DisplayPort 1.2 compatible
• Cable length: 5 meters
• Colour: white
• Signal types: digital video and multi-channel audio
• Connector type: DisplayPort male to DisplayPort male

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the DisplayPort output on the source device and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the display or projector. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks, if present. After physical connection, configure the display settings on the source device as needed to select resolution, refresh rate and audio output. For multi-monitor setups, use the operating system display settings to arrange and extend or mirror displays.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and kinks along the cable path and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources. If running the cable for long-term installations, allow slack near connectors to reduce strain and verify display resolutions and refresh rates are supported by both source and display devices when using high-resolution modes.
