Videokabel-adapter ProXtend MDP-HDMI-002W 2 m Mini DisplayPort wit

The ProXtend MDP-HDMI-002W is a 2 m video cable adapter with a Mini DisplayPort connector on one end and an HDMI connector on the other. It supports video and audio transmission and is designed to connect devices with Mini DisplayPort outputs to HDMI displays. The cable is RoHS-compliant, lightweight (73 g) and available in white.

Advantages

The cable supports up to 4K resolution at 30 Hz and carries both video and audio signals. Its Mini DisplayPort connector features a latching design for a secure connection. The 2 m length provides flexibility for typical desktop and home setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or desktops with Mini DisplayPort to HDMI monitors or TVs
• Projectors with HDMI input that require video and audio from an MDP source
• Home office and multimedia setups where a 2 m cable length is sufficient

• Connector 1: Mini DisplayPort (latching)
• Connector 2: HDMI
• Maximum supported resolution: 4K @ 30 Hz

How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort end to the source device and the HDMI end to the display or TV. Ensure both devices are powered on and the display input is set to the correct HDMI port. The cable transmits both video and audio; adjust resolution and audio output settings on the source device if necessary to match the display capabilities.

Recommendations

For best results when using 4K at 30 Hz, use the source device’s display settings to select 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz and ensure the display supports HDMI input at that resolution. Avoid excessive cable bending near the connectors to maintain the latching mechanism and signal integrity.
