DisplayPort-kabel ProXtend DP1.4AR-005 — DisplayPort 1.4, 8K@60Hz, 0,5 m

ProXtend DP1.4AR-005 is a DisplayPort 1.4 cable designed for short, high-bandwidth connections between compatible PCs, laptops and monitors. Supporting up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz, the 0.5 m length minimizes cable clutter and helps maintain signal integrity for demanding video applications. The cable is intended for situations where a compact, reliable link is required for gaming, professional graphics work or high-resolution video playback.

Advantages

The cable supports DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth, enabling 8K@60Hz video and high-refresh 4K modes. Its short 0.5 m length reduces potential signal degradation over longer runs and keeps workspaces tidier. The design focuses on stable transmission for high-resolution images and fast frame rates, suitable for GPU-to-monitor connections where cable quality affects display performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to an 8K or 4K monitor for high-resolution display
• Gaming setups that require high refresh rates and low-latency video transmission
• Professional graphics, video editing and color-critical workflows
• Short-range desktop installations where reduced cable length is preferred

Key specifications

• Interface: DisplayPort 1.4 compatible
• Maximum supported resolution and refresh rate: up to 8K at 60 Hz
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Designed for high-bandwidth video transmission and minimal signal loss over short runs
• Typical use: direct GPU-to-monitor connections
• Weight: 0.76 kg

How to use

Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output on the computer or graphics card and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the monitor. Ensure both devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate, and set the display settings in the operating system or graphics driver to the target resolution (for example 8K at 60 Hz). For best results, keep the cable free of sharp bends and avoid running it alongside large power cables that may cause interference.

Recommendations

Verify that both your source device and monitor explicitly support DisplayPort 1.4 and the intended resolution/refresh rate. When using 8K@60Hz, use the native input on the monitor and confirm the graphics driver and monitor firmware are updated to ensure full bandwidth and feature support.
