Netwerkkabel LOGON FTP Cat6 10 m, RJ-45 naar RJ-45, 1000 Mbit/s, paars

LOGON FTP Cat6 10 m networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends provides a shielded, flexible wired connection for gigabit Ethernet. The cable meets Cat6 performance parameters and supports data transfer speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. FTP shielding around the twisted pairs reduces electromagnetic interference, helping maintain stable connections in home and office LAN environments. The cable is violet and terminated with standard RJ-45 male connectors on each end for plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers and network interfaces.

Advantages

FTP shielding improves resistance to external electromagnetic noise compared with unshielded cables, which helps reduce packet loss and transmission errors in electrically noisy environments. Cat6 performance and the 10 m length offer a balance between reach and signal integrity for typical desktop, rack and wall-mounted installations. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with network equipment and make the cable easy to install without special tools.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in a wired LAN
• Home and small office network cabling
• Temporary wiring for events or testing network equipment
• Connecting network devices where electromagnetic interference may be present

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Connector type: RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male
• Length: 10 m
• Maximum supported data rate: 1000 Mbit/s (gigabit Ethernet)
• Shielding: FTP (foil shield around twisted pairs)
• Colour: violet

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices, such as a router, switch or PC. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends or kinks and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference when routing. If installing through racks, conduits or cable trays, allow some slack to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use the cable for permanent or temporary gigabit connections up to 10 m. For installations near significant sources of interference or in industrial environments, verify grounding and consider shielded network equipment to complement the FTP cable. Replace cable if connector damage, exposed shielding, or persistent connectivity issues occur.
