Netwerkkabel LOGON TCR55SS075M Cat5e F/UTP (FTP) magenta 7,5 m RJ-45–RJ-45

LOGON TCR55SS075M Cat5e F/UTP (FTP) Magenta 7.5 m is a shielded Ethernet patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Intended for Cat5e performance, this 7.5-metre cable features foil-shielded twisted pairs and shielded RJ-45 plugs to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity for LAN, router, switch or modem connections in home and small office networks. The magenta jacket provides fast visual identification in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

The foil-shielded (F/UTP) construction protects the four twisted pairs from external noise and crosstalk, improving stability in environments with moderate electromagnetic interference. Shielded RJ-45 connectors with strain relief and kink protection ensure durable mechanical contacts and reduce wear at termination points. Cat5e certification and 100 Ohm impedance support gigabit-capable Ethernet links within the Cat5e specification, while the 7.5 m length covers typical runs between desks, switches and wall outlets without unnecessary slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home and small office LANs
• Patch-panel to switch links in network racks and cabinets
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling where visual identification is helpful
• Environments with moderate EMI where foil shielding improves link reliability

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e, F/UTP (FTP) shielded cable
• Length: 7.5 m
• Conductor: 4 x 2 AWG 26/7, twisted pairs
• Impedance: 100 Ohm
• Connectors: RJ-45 Male to RJ-45 Male, shielded
• Strain relief: Boot with kink protection and strain relief
• Certification: Cat5e certified (3P Cat5e)
• Color: Magenta
• Installation: Plug and Play

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet port on devices such as PCs, switches, routers or modems until the connector latch clicks. Route the magenta cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible; the integrated strain relief and boot reduce stress at connector ends. No additional configuration is required for standard Ethernet links—devices will negotiate the appropriate speed within Cat5e capabilities.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight coils and acute bends that can damage the internal twisted pairs. Use the cable for runs up to 7.5 m and pair with shielded ports or grounded patch panels when operating in electrically noisy environments to take full advantage of the F/UTP shielding.
