Netwerkkabel METZ CONNECT Cat6A 5 m zwart

The METZ CONNECT Cat6A networking cable, 5 meters long in black, is a fully shielded Cat.6A patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission. It features two shielded RJ45 connectors with 1:1 pin assignment and an S/FTP 4x2xAWG 26/7 PIMF cable construction with LSHF (LSOH) halogen-free sheath. The cable is certified to relevant standards and is suitable for use in shielded and unshielded Class EA systems, supporting up to 10 GBit Ethernet and remote powering protocols.

Advantages

Fully shielded S/FTP design minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring stable signal integrity up to 500 MHz. The AWG 26/7 conductor and shielded RJ45 connectors provide reliable mechanical and electrical performance. The halogen-free LSHF sheath reduces toxic emissions in case of fire, while the snagless boot with integrated lever protection prevents connector damage during installation. Certified to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2 and IEC 61935-2 and tested to GHMT standards, the cable meets industry requirements for Cat.6A deployments.

How to use

Connect the shielded RJ45 connectors to the corresponding ports on your networking devices, ensuring the 1:1 pin assignment matches the port wiring. Route the cable following installation best practices for shielded cabling, avoiding tight bends and sources of strong interference. Use appropriate cable management and grounding for shielded systems to maintain performance and compliance with your structured cabling design.

Recommendations

The cable is especially suitable for installations requiring shielded Cat.6A links; verify connector compatibility and implement proper grounding for shielded infrastructure. Note that cable color may vary slightly between production batches.
