Netwerkkabel PATCHBOX CONE46UTPBL RJ-45 Cat6a 2,5 m blauw

The PATCHBOX CONE46UTPBL RJ-45 Cat6a 2.5m Blue is a 2.5-metre networking cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in structured cabling environments. Compliant with Cat6a performance, this U/UTP cable uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain consistent signal integrity and reduce contact corrosion. The cable’s blue jacket provides visual identification within racks or patch panels and fits modular Patchbox cassette systems for quick installation and replacement.

Advantages

This Cat6a cable provides higher bandwidth and improved alien crosstalk performance compared with lower-category cables, suitable for demanding network links. U/UTP construction helps limit electromagnetic interference in common installations, and the gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure stable connectivity and low contact resistance. The 2.5 m length balances reach and manageability in patching scenarios, while the blue colour supports organised cabling and quick visual tracing.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and rack patching in data closets and server rooms
• Connections between switches, routers and networked devices
• Structured cabling where Cat6a performance is required
• Environments using modular Patchbox cassette systems

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Cable length: 2.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: U/UTP (unscreened overall with unshielded pairs)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Blue
• Weight: 0.22 kg

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 plugs into the corresponding ports on switches, patch panels or network devices until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; maintain service loops where required for future moves. When used with modular Patchbox cassettes, slide the cable into the cassette slot and secure according to the cassette’s installation procedure to enable quick cassette swaps and tidy rack management.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances and keep bend radius greater than the manufacturer’s minimum. Use this Cat6a cable for short to medium patch runs within racks and between nearby network equipment, and label both ends to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.
