Netwerkkabel PATCHBOX CONEX8STPBL RJ-45 Cat6a 0,8 m blauw

The PATCHBOX CONEX8STPBL is a modular networking cable cassette option for PATCHBOX frames that contains an RJ-45 Cat6a U/FTP cable with a length of 0.8 m and a blue jacket. It is designed for reliable, high-speed wired connections and can be combined with up to 24 cassettes in a PATCHBOX frame. The cable meets Cat6a performance and the cassette format allows quick exchange or reconfiguration within a rack.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and improves signal integrity while gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance contact reliability and resistance to corrosion. The cassette format makes installation and replacement fast and tool-free, and the 0.8 m cable length is suitable for short patching runs inside cabinets or between adjacent rack units. The blue jacket provides clear visual identification in structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections inside server racks and network cabinets
• Modular PATCHBOX frames populated with multiple cassettes
• Environments requiring Cat6a performance and PoE support
• Structured cabling installations where colour coding is used

How to use

Insert the cassette into a compatible PATCHBOX frame slot until it locks in place. Connect RJ-45 ends to the corresponding ports on switches, patch panels or devices. For best performance ensure connectors are fully seated and routing avoids excessive bends or compression. The cassette can be removed and replaced within seconds for reconfiguration or maintenance.

Recommendations

Use the CONEX8STPBL for short internal patching runs inside racks and cabinets. Keep cable bend radius within manufacturer limits and avoid placing heavy objects on the cable. Where PoE or PoE++ is used, verify connected devices and switches support the required power levels.
