Netwerkkabel PremiumCord patchkabel S-FTP Cat6a RJ-45 7m zwart

PremiumCord Patch Cable S-FTP Cat6a RJ-45 7m Black is a 7-metre network patch cable designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000/10000 Mbit) applications. The cable uses copper conductors (CU) in a 4 x 2 AWG 26/7 twisted pair configuration, with one-to-one pinout and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Shielding is SFTP (PiMF foil around each pair plus overall braid) to reduce external interference and maintain signal integrity.

Advantages

The S-FTP Cat6a construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference compared with unshielded cables. Copper conductors and a 26/7 strand configuration offer reliable connectivity and good flexibility for installation. The 7 m length and black jacket make this patch cable suitable for linking network equipment in office racks or home setups while keeping visible cabling discreet.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections (10/100/1000/10000 Mbit)
• Patch panels, switches and routers in office or home networks
• Short- to medium-length links between network devices (up to 7 m)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on your network devices until a click confirms a secure connection. Use the cable to connect switches, routers, patch panels or computers. Avoid tight bending near the connectors and keep the cable clear of high-power electrical cables to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance at 10 Gbit/s, use this Cat6a S-FTP cable for links within the specified 7 m length and ensure proper grounding of shielded network equipment where required.
