Netwerkkabel ROLINE 21.15.1853 Cat8.1 3m Geel

The ROLINE 21.15.1853 is a 3 m Cat8.1 networking cable in yellow, equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP shielding for enhanced signal integrity. Compliant with Category 8 cabling standards, it supports short-distance 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T applications and is designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding network environments. The cable is halogen-free and flame-retardant (LSOH) and carries GHMT certification for quality and performance.

Advantages

Cat8.1 specification enables significantly higher data transfer rates on twisted-pair copper cabling and supports modern short-reach 25G and 40G Ethernet standards. S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, improving reliability in dense cable deployments. The LSOH jacket minimizes hazardous emissions in case of fire, and GHMT certification verifies compliance with performance and manufacturing quality benchmarks. The yellow color enhances visibility for easier identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Short-distance high-speed server and switch connections (25GBASE-T / 40GBASE-T)
• Data center patching and rack-to-rack links
• High-performance workstations and professional AV systems
• Environments requiring halogen-free flame-retardant cabling

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually shielded pairs)
• Colour: Yellow
• Safety: LSOH (halogen-free, flame-retardant)
• Certification: GHMT

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on your network devices (switch, server, NIC or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain signal integrity. Use the cable for short-distance links within racks or between adjacent racks where Cat8.1 performance is required. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat8.1 cable for short-reach connections (typically within the same rack or adjacent racks) and pair it with Cat8-capable ports and hardware. Avoid running near high-power electrical lines and keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines to preserve shielding effectiveness and transmission performance.
