Netwerkkabel ROLINE Recycled Material 21.45.3256 RJ-45 Cat6a 7 m zwart

The ROLINE Recycled Material 21.45.3256 networking cable is a 7 m Cat6a patch cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for 10GBase-T networks, the cable combines gold-plated contacts and moulded bend protection to provide durable, reliable data transmission while using recycled materials for a reduced environmental footprint.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Moulded bend protection at the connectors increases mechanical durability and helps maintain signal integrity over time. Use of recycled materials lowers material consumption compared to conventional cables.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T data centers and server racks
• High-speed LAN backbones and switch-to-switch links
• Workstation connections requiring Cat6a performance
• Environments requiring shielded cabling to minimise interference

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, router or network interface) and the other end to the paired device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable with gentle bends and avoid tight kinks; the moulded bend protection helps at connector exits but standard cable management practices should be followed to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For best results in shielded installations, ensure proper grounding of patch panels and equipment chassis. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if shielding or connector integrity is compromised.
