Netwerkkabel S/CONN ShiverPeaks 75711-H0.5W-SET5

This 0.5m S/FTP Cat6 networking cable by ShiverPeaks provides a compact, shielded connection for short-distance Ethernet links. Both ends are fitted with RJ45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to maintain consistent signal transfer and resist corrosion. The white jacket and robust construction suit patch panel, switch-to-device and desktop connections where minimal cable length and reduced electromagnetic interference are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding around individual pairs and the overall braid helps minimize crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, supporting stable data transmission at Cat6 performance levels. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts improve contact reliability and lower contact resistance. The short 0.5 m length reduces excess cable clutter, while the durable jacket offers mechanical protection for everyday network environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switch ports to nearby devices (PCs, IP phones, access points)
• Patch panel to switch short links in data cabinets
• Desk- or workstation-level Ethernet connections with minimal cable run
• Environments requiring reduced EMI and better pair isolation

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (S/FTP shielding)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Color: white
• Construction: compact patch cable for short links

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network switch, router or patch panel port and the other into the device's Ethernet port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. For best performance, avoid tight bends near the connector ends and prevent prolonged strain on the cable. The short length is intended for connections where devices are in close proximity.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, use this S/FTP Cat6 cable within structured patching environments, keep the cable run under mechanical stress and away from high-voltage power lines or large sources of electromagnetic noise. Replace if connectors or jacket show visible damage.
