Netwerkkabel SBOX kabel UTP CAT5e RJ-45 1 m rood

The SBOX CABLE UTP CAT5e RJ-45 1 m Red is a 1-metre U/UTP network cable that meets the Cat5e standard and provides reliable wired connectivity. Both ends have RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The cable's red jacket makes it easy to identify in multi-cable setups and adds a distinctive visual element to workstations and network racks.

Advantages

This Cat5e UTP cable supports standard Ethernet speeds for typical LAN applications and offers consistent signal transmission due to its U/UTP construction. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance durability and stable connections. The 1 m length is suitable for short runs between devices, and the red colour improves cable management by simplifying identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC, switch or router within a desk or small workspace
• Patch panel to network device connections in structured cabling racks
• Home and office LAN setups requiring short uniform cable runs
• Environments where cable colour coding aids organisation

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Red
• Brand: SBOX, MPN: UTP-1R, EAN: 616320535728

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tension; for rack installations use appropriate cable management to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on connectors. For best performance, keep the cable clear of strong EMI sources such as unshielded mains transformers.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Cat5e cable for short, in-room connections where clear visual identification is useful; replace with a higher-category cable (Cat6/Cat6a) if you require higher bandwidth or future-proofing for faster networks.
