Netwerkkabel SBOX kabel UTP CAT5e RJ-45 10 m grijs

The SBOX CABLE UTP CAT5e RJ-45 10 m Grey is a 10-metre U/UTP network cable designed for reliable data transmission in home and office networks. It features U/UTP shielding to reduce interference and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for improved contact and durability. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for various environments.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable provides stable and consistent Ethernet connectivity over a 10 m reach. U/UTP shielding helps minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure better conductivity and longer connector life. The cable is compatible with standard Ethernet devices and supports common high-speed internet and networking tasks.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and network printers
• Home and small office wired networks
• Internet browsing, video streaming and online gaming
• Temporary or permanent Ethernet runs up to 10 m

Key specifications

• Cable type: UTP CAT5e (U/UTP)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices you wish to connect, such as a computer and router or a switch and a printer. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For neat installation, use cable clips or ties to secure the cable along walls or under desks.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power cables for long distances and keep bend radius above the manufacturer's minimum to prevent signal degradation. Replace the cable if connectors are damaged or if you require higher-category performance (e.g., Cat6) for future network upgrades.
