Netwerkkabel Sharkoon Patch SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 10 m blauw

The Sharkoon Patch Network Cable SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 10m in blue is a shielded Ethernet cable engineered for high-speed wired connections in home, office, and professional environments. Built to Cat.7a standards with SFTP shielding and standard RJ-45 terminations, this 10-meter cable provides a reliable physical link between network devices, offering stable throughput for gaming, streaming, file transfers, and low-latency applications.

Advantages

The cable’s SFTP (shielded foil over braid) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in crowded or electrically noisy environments. Its Cat.7a specification supports higher bandwidths and improved performance compared with lower-category cables. The 10 m length balances reach and manageability while the RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with routers, switches, network cards, and most consumer and professional networking hardware. The blue jacket makes cable management and identification easier in multi-cable setups.

Suitable for

• Wired gaming setups requiring stable, low-latency connections
• High-definition video streaming and large file transfers
• Office and home networks connecting routers, switches, and NAS devices
• Environments with potential electrical interference where shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7a
• Shielding: SFTP (foil + braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C)
• Length: 10 meters
• Color: Blue
• Cable use: Ethernet/networking

How to use

Connect one end of the Sharkoon Cat.7a cable to the RJ-45 port of your network device (router, switch, PC, or game console) and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully seated and the latch clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, crushing, or close proximity to heavy power cables to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal quality. No special drivers or configuration are required; the cable functions as a physical medium for standard Ethernet protocols.

Recommendations

The cable is optimized for fixed, indoor installations where a durable, shielded connection is needed. For runs near large electrical equipment, maintain separation or use proper cable management to retain shielding benefits. Avoid excessive bending radius and repeated flexing to prolong service life.
