Netwerkkabel Sharkoon Sharkoon patch-netwerkkabel SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 2 meter zwart

The Sharkoon patch network cable SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 2 meters black is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired networking in home and office environments. It complies with Cat.7a performance, supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps over short to medium distances, and uses sturdy RJ-45 connectors for compatibility with standard network ports. The SFTP construction combines foil and braided shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity in crowded cable environments.

Advantages

The cable's SFTP shielding minimizes crosstalk and external interference, resulting in more stable connections and fewer packet errors. A two-meter length provides flexibility for typical desk-to-router or switch-to-device runs without excess slack. The RJ-45 connectors are designed for secure fit and easy insertion, while the Cat.7a specification ensures backward compatibility with lower category devices and improved performance for modern network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops, printers and network-attached storage to routers or switches
• Wired home networks where interference from other electronics may be present
• Office workstations and small server racks requiring stable 10 Gbps-capable links
• Temporary or permanent connections in multimedia setups and streaming systems

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7a performance level
• Shielding: SFTP (foil + braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male
• Maximum supported throughput: up to 10 Gbps (depending on network equipment and distance)
• Length: 2 meters
• Color: black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other into the Ethernet port of your computer, NAS or other network device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends or tight kinks in the cable and route it away from high-powered electrical devices where possible to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

For sustained high-speed transfers, pair the cable with network hardware that supports 10 Gbps and configure device network settings appropriately. When installing in cable bundles, maintain correct bend radius and avoid running parallel to power lines to preserve the SFTP shielding effectiveness.
