Netwerkkabel Sharkoon Sharkoon Patch-netwerkkabel SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 3 meter blauw

The Sharkoon patch network cable SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 3 meters blue is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission and stable network connections. Complying with Category 7a specifications, this 3 m cable uses SFTP (shielded foil with braided shielding) construction and standard RJ-45 connectors to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity across home and office installations.

Advantages

This Cat.7a SFTP cable provides enhanced shielding to minimize crosstalk and external interference, ensuring consistent throughput for demanding applications. The 3 meter length offers flexibility for desk-to-router or rack-to-equipment connections without excessive slack. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with most network devices while the durable jacket and connector strain relief increase mechanical reliability during installation and routine use.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in home or small office networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as 4K streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Structured cabling segments where improved EMI protection is required
• Temporary or permanent patch cabling in server rooms and network racks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7a
• Shielding: SFTP (foil shield plus braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Length: 3 meters
• Color: blue
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper conductors (standard for patch cables)
• Usage environment: indoor network installations

How to use

Identify the network ports on your devices and insert the RJ-45 connectors until the latch clicks in place to establish a secure connection. Use the 3 m length to route between desks, wall outlets and network equipment while avoiding tight bends near the connector ends. For best performance, ensure connectors and ports are clean and fully seated; replace the cable if the jacket or connector shows visible damage.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large motors or unshielded power lines, and avoid sharp bends or repeated flexing. Use for indoor structured cabling and patching where Cat.7a performance and SFTP shielding are required.
