Netwerkkabel Sharkoon Sharkoon patch-netwerkkabel SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 50 cm blauw

The Sharkoon patch network cable SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 50cm blue is a short, shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in compact installations. Compliant with Category 7a standards, this 50 cm cable uses SFTP construction and quality RJ-45 connectors to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity between network devices in home or office setups.

Advantages

This SFTP Cat.7a cable offers improved protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference thanks to its braided and foil shielding. The compact 50 cm length minimizes excess cable clutter in patch panels, desktop setups, or network switches while preserving bandwidth for high-speed connections. The gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent contact and corrosion resistance, and the cable jacket in blue provides visual identification in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches, patch panels and networked devices in tight spaces
• Desktop and home office networking where short, tidy connections are required
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and improved signal integrity
• Temporary or permanent links inside server racks and structured cabling systems with short patch distances

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7a
• Shielding: SFTP (braided shield + foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45, 8P8C
• Length: 50 cm
• Color: Blue
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper conductors

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. For patching between equipment in rack or desktop installations, route the 50 cm cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive strain. Use the blue cable to mark or separate specific connections within larger cable bundles. When disconnecting, press the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the clip or connector.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical lines for long distances and keep bend radius above the minimum recommended by the connector manufacturer. Use this short SFTP Cat.7a patch cable where a compact, shielded connection is needed to preserve bandwidth and reduce interference.
