ACT ivoor 2 meter U/UTP CAT5E patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

ACT patch cables feature full copper conductors and meet the ANSI/TIA568-C2-1 performance requirements. The ACT Ivory 2 meter U/UTP CAT5E patch cable with RJ45 connectors supports up to 1 Gbps data transmission and uses U/UTP construction to reduce interference while providing consistent connectivity. The cable’s ivory color and gold-plated RJ45 contacts ensure a reliable physical connection for desktop and rack installations.

Advantages

Full copper conductors provide low resistance and reliable signal transmission, which is important for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. Compliance with ANSI/TIA568-C2-1 ensures the cable meets established performance standards for CAT5E. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors improve contact quality and corrosion resistance. U/UTP construction helps minimise external electromagnetic interference for stable network operation.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections up to 1 Gbps
• PoE devices such as IP phones, cameras, and wireless access points
• Desktop, switch-to-switch or switch-to-router patching in offices and data cabinets

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to your network device (switch, router, or PoE injector) and the other end to the target device (PC, IP camera, access point or phone). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain recommended bend radius for CAT5E to preserve signal integrity. For permanent installations, label both ends for easier identification.

Recommendations

Use ACT full-copper CAT5E patch cables for short- to medium-length connections within cabinets and office environments. For reliable PoE operation, always choose full-copper conductors rather than copper-clad aluminium (CCA). Avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.
