ACT grijs 2 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline patchkabel met rastnasbeveiliging en RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Grey 2 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A patch cable is a slimline datacenter Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transfer and space-efficient routing. With a 3.8 mm diameter and U/FTP shielding, this 2 m grey cable reduces electromagnetic interference while allowing improved airflow in server cabinets compared with regular CAT6A cords. The LSZH jacket lowers smoke and toxicity in case of fire, and snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts provide reliable mating and signal transfer.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm diameter decreases bend radius and helps optimize cabinet airflow. U/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference for stable high-frequency performance. LSZH jacket material minimizes smoke and toxic emissions in the event of a fire. Snagless RJ45 plugs with gold-plated contacts ensure consistent connectivity and protection of the connector latch.

Suitable for

• Data center patching in high-density racks
• Short permanent links and top-of-rack deployments
• Environments requiring low-smoke, low-toxicity cabling
• Applications where cable routing in tight spaces and improved airflow are needed

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network device and the other to the patch panel, switch, or server port. Route the slimline cable through cable management trays or between patch panel ports, respecting the reduced bend radius. For best signal performance, keep the patch cord length to the required minimum and avoid unnecessary loops or tight bends.

Recommendations

Although 32 AWG slimline conductors are used, ACT recommends limiting permanent link length compared with standard 24 AWG patch cords to accommodate higher attenuation at higher frequencies. For PoE installations, limit bundle size to a maximum of 24 cables to control temperature rise in the bundle; ANSI TSB-184-A specifies that temperature increase for the centre cable should remain below 15 °C above ambient.
