ACT Oranje 20,00 meter SFTP CAT6A patchkabel, rastnasenvrij, met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Orange 20.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a high-performance network cable designed for 10 Gbps Ethernet connections. It uses S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually shielded pairs) to minimize electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer runs. The cable is terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and features a snagless boot to protect the connector clip during installation and removal. Its 20 meter length and bright orange jacket make it suitable for visible cable runs and structured cabling in commercial or home networks.

Advantages

This SFTP CAT6A cable provides consistent high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gbps while reducing crosstalk and external interference thanks to screened shielding and individually wrapped pairs. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure stable electrical contact. The snagless design protects the connector tab, reducing the risk of damage when routing through cable trays or tight spaces. The distinctive orange jacket enhances cable identification and helps maintain organized installations.

How to use

Route the ACT Orange 20.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable between network devices such as switches, routers and patch panels, ensuring bend radii are respected and the cable is not pinched or sharply kinked. Insert the RJ-45 plug fully into the corresponding port until the clip engages. When removing the cable, depress the clip and pull straight out to avoid damaging the connector. For best performance, avoid running the cable in close parallel alongside high-voltage power lines or large electrical equipment.

Recommendations

Use this SFTP CAT6A cable for backbone and interconnect runs up to 20 meters where reduced interference and 10 Gbps performance are required. For permanent horizontal wiring or environments with severe mechanical stress, verify installation standards and consider conduit or cable management accessories to protect the jacket and connectors.
