Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 08-64050 CAT6 S/FTP PIMF — patchkabel voor gestructureerde bekabeling

ShiverPeaks 08-64050 CAT6 S/FTP PIMF patch cable is designed for structured cabling and reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. The cable combines individually foil-shielded twisted pairs with an overall braided or foil screen to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. With a robust connector construction and a length suitable for patching between switches, patch panels and wall outlets, this cable supports Gigabit Ethernet performance in office and data-room environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF construction provides consistent pair-to-pair shielding and overall screening, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple nearby cables and electronic equipment. The cable supports CAT6 performance parameters, maintaining bandwidth and reducing alien crosstalk on horizontal runs. Its standardized RJ45 terminations are suitable for installation in patch panels and switch ports, offering straightforward compatibility with common networking hardware.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers and servers
• Patch cabling in racks and patch panels
• Horizontal runs in offices, data rooms and telecommunication closets
• LAN installations requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall screen with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Pair design: PIMF (Pair in Metal Foil) for reduced crosstalk
• Connector type: RJ45 terminated for standard Ethernet ports
• Intended use: Patch cable for structured cabling and horizontal links

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network switch or patch panel port and the other end to the target device or adjacent patch point. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secured in the ports. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable, and maintain recommended bend radius when routing through cable management or conduit.

Recommendations

Use this CAT6 S/FTP PIMF cable for short to medium patch runs where shielding is required to mitigate interference. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines; if crossing is necessary, do so at right angles. Inspect connectors before installation and replace any cable with visible damage to jacket or termination.
