Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75210-10H CAT 5e F/UTP halogeenvrij 10 m

ShiverPeaks 75210-10H CAT 5e F/UTP Halogen-Free 10m is a network cable engineered for data and Ethernet installations that require foil-shielded pairs and reduced fire-toxicity materials. The cable conforms to CAT 5e performance characteristics, supports typical Ethernet speeds used in office and home networks, and is supplied with a halogen-free outer jacket to limit harmful gas emissions in case of fire. Its 10 m length is suitable for patching, horizontal runs and connecting network devices across rooms or racks.

Advantages

This F/UTP cable provides improved protection against external electromagnetic interference thanks to overall foil shielding while preserving the flexibility needed for routing and termination. The halogen-free jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas output during combustion, which is important for installations in confined or public spaces. Constructed to meet CAT 5e electrical and transmission parameters, the cable supports reliable data transfer for standard Ethernet applications and is compatible with common RJ45 terminations and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches and wall outlets in offices and server rooms
• Horizontal cabling runs in structured cabling systems
• Connecting PCs, printers, IP phones and other Ethernet devices
• Installations where reduced halogen emissions are required by safety policy

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 5e performance
• Shielding: Foil overall shield with unshielded twisted pairs (F/UTP)
• Jacket material: Halogen-free compound
• Length: 10 meters
• Conductor: Twisted copper pairs suitable for standard RJ45 terminations
• Application: Ethernet and general data cabling

How to use

Measure the required run and lay the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of heavy electromagnetic interference. Terminate both ends with compatible RJ45 plugs or mount into patch panels using standard CAT 5e termination techniques, ensuring correct pair alignment and proper strain relief. Test the installed cable with a cable tester to verify continuity, pair mapping and performance before putting the link into production.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended CAT 5e length limits, separate power cabling to minimize interference, and use shielded connectors or proper grounding practices when relying on the foil shield. In environments with stricter fire-safety requirements, verify compliance of the halogen-free jacket with local regulations.
