Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75711-H0.25G-SET10 CAT6 S/FTP PIMF 0,25 m (10-delige set)

ShiverPeaks 75711-H0.25G-SET10 is a set of ten CAT6 S/FTP PIMF patch cables, each 0.25 m in length and designed for short-distance connections in structured networks and patch panels. The cables combine individually shielded twisted pairs with an overall braided shield to reduce crosstalk and provide enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference, meeting the performance expectations for CAT6 Ethernet links in data, voice and control applications.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF construction ensures improved pair-to-pair isolation and an overall braid adds robustness against external EMI sources. The short 0.25 m length is suitable for tidy patching in racks and wall-mounted patch panels, reducing excess cable clutter and improving airflow. Sold as a set of 10, the package simplifies procurement for multiport patching and small installations.

Suitable for

• Patch panel to switch connections in server rooms and network cabinets
• Rack-mounted equipment interconnects where short cable runs are required
• Structured cabling installations requiring CAT6 performance and EMI shielding
• Points where multiple short fixed-length patch leads are needed for neat cable management

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP with pair-in-metal-foil (PIMF) and overall braided shield
• Length per cable: 0.25 m
• Package quantity: set of 10 cables
• Conductor type: twisted pairs

How to use

Use each 0.25 m cable to connect adjacent ports on patch panels, switches, or routers where short, secure connections are required. Insert RJ45 plugs fully into the device ports until the latch clicks to ensure a firm mechanical and electrical connection. Avoid sharp bends or kinks near the connectors and maintain standard bend radius for copper network cables to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, separate these S/FTP cables from high-voltage power lines and strong EMI sources when possible. Use the short cables for intra-rack connections and leave longer runs to properly certified in-wall or floor cabling. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and replace any cable showing visible wear to maintain reliable CAT6 performance.
