Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75713-AG CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF, afgeschermd 4-pairs, voor 10 Gigabit Ethernet

Shielded network cable ShiverPeaks 75713-AG CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF is engineered for reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections and demanding network environments. The cable features four individually foil-shielded twisted pairs combined with an overall braided shield to minimise crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. Constructed for structured cabling systems, server rooms and professional LAN installations, the design supports high data throughput, improved signal integrity and longer link distances typical of CAT 6A installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF construction provides strong protection against alien crosstalk and external electromagnetic noise, improving signal quality for high-speed transmissions. Halogen-free materials reduce toxic gas emission in case of fire and braided shielding ensures mechanical durability and stable electrical performance. The cable supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet bandwidth requirements and is suitable for installations that require ISO/IEC performance associated with CAT 6A cabling.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in data centres and server rooms
• Structured cabling backbones in office and commercial environments
• Professional LAN deployments requiring shielded cables
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually foil-shielded pairs plus overall braid)
• Pairs: 4 twisted pairs
• Suitable for: 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Material: halogen-free jacket
• Color: green
• Typical application: structured cabling, server rooms, data centres

How to use

Install the cable following standard structured cabling practices: route along designated cable trays or conduits, avoid sharp bends and maintain recommended separation from power lines to minimise interference. Terminate each pair with compatible CAT 6A RJ45 connectors or use pre-terminated patch leads as required. Test each link after installation with a cable certifier or tester that supports CAT 6A/10G verification to confirm continuity, pair integrity and performance parameters.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep individual cable run lengths within industry standards for CAT 6A and follow cable bend radius guidelines. Use shielded connectors and properly grounded patch panels or outlet modules when deploying S/FTP PIMF cabling to preserve shielding effectiveness.
