Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75713-H-SET10 Cat 6 S/FTP PIMF, 10-pack

ShiverPeaks 75713-H-SET10 Cat 6 S/FTP PIMF, 10‑pack is a set of Cat 6 patch cables designed for structured cabling and Ethernet connections requiring gigabit performance. Each cable in the 10‑pack features pair-level foil shielding with an overall braided shield (S/FTP, PIMF) to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. The pack is intended for environments where reliable physical layer performance and reduced signal disturbance are important, such as offices, data centers and residential networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) construction provides individual foil shielding around each twisted pair plus an overall braid to improve resistance to external electromagnetic interference and to limit internal crosstalk. Supplied as a 10‑pack, the set simplifies bulk deployment and spare provisioning for multiple network runs. The cables are designed to meet Cat 6 performance requirements, supporting typical gigabit Ethernet applications and structured cabling installations.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in office and home networks
• Patch panels and switch-to-device connections in data centers
• Structured cabling installations that require shielded cables
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference where shielded cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6 performance class
• Shielding: S/FTP (pair-level foil, overall braid) — PIMF construction
• Packaging: 10 cables per set (10‑pack)
• Application: Patch cable for structured cabling and Ethernet connections
• Halogen-free jacket (halogenfrei)
• Length per cable: 3.0 m (as indicated in product title and additional data)

How to use

Install the ShiverPeaks Cat 6 S/FTP cables by connecting the RJ45 plugs to compatible Ethernet ports on switches, patch panels and devices. Ensure shield termination at both ends when connecting to shielded outlets or patch panels to maintain the effectiveness of the S/FTP shielding. Route cables to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; follow standard cable management practices for separation from power lines and sources of interference. Verify link speed and signal integrity after installation using appropriate network test equipment.

Recommendations

For best performance, terminate and ground the braided shield at both ends using compatible shielded connectors or patch panels; maintain minimum bend radius recommendations and avoid tight bundling with power cables to reduce degradation of signal quality.
