Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75713-R CAT6a S/FTP 3 m rood

Shielded network cable ShiverPeaks 75713-R CAT6a S/FTP 3 m in red is a 3-meter Ethernet patch cable engineered to deliver CAT6a performance for high-speed LAN connections. The S/FTP (shielded foil with overall braided shield) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, while the robust jacket and molded connectors provide reliable physical protection for frequent plug/unplug cycles in structured cabling, patch panels, switches and workstation connections.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall braided shield with individual pair foil, improving immunity to external EMI and minimizing internal crosstalk for stable data transmission at higher frequencies. CAT6a-rated performance supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short to medium runs. The 3 m length and flexible red jacket make the cable easy to route and visually identifiable in dense cabling environments. Molded connectors reduce strain on the termination and help maintain consistent electrical contact.

Suitable for

• Office and data center patching between switches and patch panels
• Workstation connections where shielding is required to prevent interference
• Audio/video installations sensitive to EMI
• Small server racks and network closets with short cable runs

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6a performance suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braided shield plus foil around each twisted pair
• Length: 3 meters
• Conductor: multi-stranded copper (for flexible patching)
• Jacket color: red
• Connector type: RJ45 molded connectors
• Use: patch cable for LAN, switches, patch panels and workstations

How to use

Connect one end of the ShiverPeaks CAT6a S/FTP cable to the RJ45 port of your network device and the other end to the corresponding port on the switch, patch panel or workstation. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For neat cable management in racks or under desks, use cable ties or routing channels and leave slight slack to prevent tension on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance keep the cable length appropriate for the application (this 3 m patch cable is intended for short to medium runs) and maintain connector and shield continuity by using compatible shielded ports or properly grounded patch panels. Avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radius guidelines to preserve signal integrity.
