Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75715-AW CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF, afgeschermde twisted-pair-kabel, AW-model

ShiverPeaks 75715-AW CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF shielded twisted pair network cable is designed for high‑speed Ethernet connections and applications requiring reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable supports up to 10 Gbps data rates and features an overall shield with individually foil‑shielded pairs (S/FTP PIMF), providing improved protection against alien crosstalk and external noise. It is intended for use in commercial and residential structured cabling, backbone links and patching environments where shielded performance and signal integrity are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided or foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs, delivering enhanced noise immunity and consistent high‑frequency performance. This cable supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and is suitable for demanding LAN and data center environments. Its halogen‑free jacket reduces harmful emissions in case of fire, and the cable’s design ensures reliable transmission over typical CAT 6A distances while minimizing crosstalk.

Suitable for

• 10 Gbps Ethernet uplinks and backbone connections
• Data centre patching and rack interconnects
• Office and commercial structured cabling where shielding is required
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 6A
• Construction: S/FTP (overall shield plus foil‑shielded pairs, PIMF)
• Performance: supports up to 10 Gbps Ethernet
• Shielding: overall shield with individually shielded pairs for reduced crosstalk
• Jacket: halogen‑free outer sheath
• Color: white
• Typical application: LAN, data centre and backbone cabling

How to use

Install the cable following standard structured cabling practices. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of sustained heat; maintain manufacturer‑recommended bend radii and separation from high‑voltage power lines where possible. Terminate the cable with compatible shielded RJ45 connectors and ensure the shield is properly bonded to the connecting hardware to preserve the shield continuity. Use appropriate patch panels and cable management to prevent mechanical stress and maintain performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this CAT 6A S/FTP cable in shielded installations and pair it with shielded connectors, patch panels and grounding to ensure full EMI protection and optimal 10 Gbps performance.
