Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75720-A CAT 6A S/FTP halogeenvrij 10,0 m

ShiverPeaks 75720-A CAT 6A S/FTP halogen-free network cable, length 10.0 m, is designed for high-speed Ethernet and 10 Gigabit connections. The S/FTP structure combines an overall screen with individual pair foil shields to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, delivering stable data transmission for structured cabling in offices, server rooms and industrial environments. The halogen-free jacket minimizes harmful gas emission in case of fire, making the cable suitable for installations where low-smoke, zero-halogen materials are required.

Advantages

The screened/forked foil over twisted pairs provides improved protection against alien crosstalk and external electromagnetic disturbances, supporting reliable 10 Gigabit performance. The halogen-free outer jacket reduces corrosive gas release and smoke density in the event of combustion. At 10.0 m length the cable is convenient for patching between racks, workstations and network devices without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Structured office and commercial Ethernet networks
• Server rooms and rack-to-rack patching
• Industrial environments requiring halogen-free cabling
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links and high-speed data transmission

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall screen plus foil around each twisted pair)
• Length: 10.0 meters
• Jacket material: halogen-free
• Application: supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed network connections

How to use

Connect one end of the ShiverPeaks 75720-A cable to the network port of a switch, router or patch panel and the other end to the corresponding device or port. Ensure connectors and ports conform to the cable category for optimal performance and avoid tight bends or excessive tension that could damage the internal pairs or shielding. For permanent installations, check routing and fix the cable to avoid mechanical stress and maintain the shielding continuity at termination points.

Recommendations

For best results, pair this CAT 6A S/FTP cable with compatible CAT 6A or higher-rated connectors and patch panels, keep separation from high-power electrical lines to minimize interference, and follow local fire-safety regulations when installing halogen-free cabling in public or occupied spaces.
