Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75725-AB CAT 6A S/FTP halogeenvrij, High-Speed-Ethernet

Network cable ShiverPeaks 75725-AB CAT 6A S/FTP halogen-free is designed for high-speed Ethernet connections and structured cabling. The cable features PIMF (pair in metal foil) S/FTP construction with individually foil-shielded pairs plus an overall braid to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The halogen-free jacket increases safety in case of fire and makes the cable suitable for installations with stricter fire-protection requirements.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) design provides enhanced EMI protection and improved signal integrity for 10 Gbps networks. Halogen-free outer sheath lowers toxic gas and smoke emissions in case of combustion. GHMT-certified manufacturing ensures compliance with recognized quality and performance standards. The cable’s Cat 6A rating supports higher frequencies and longer reliable runs compared with lower categories.

Suitable for

• Data centers and server rooms
• Office network backbones and structured cabling
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links and high-bandwidth applications
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

How to use

Install the cable as part of structured cabling runs or point-to-point Ethernet links. Terminate both ends with compatible Cat 6A RJ45 connectors or use factory-fitted modular plugs if present. Respect bend radius and avoid sharp kinks; follow standard installation practices to maintain shielding continuity and performance. Route separately from strong electrical mains where possible to further reduce interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 6A S/FTP cable for 10 Gbps connections and in locations where enhanced EMI protection and halogen-free materials are required. Ensure professional termination and testing after installation to verify link performance.
