Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-39155 RJ-45 Cat7 1,5 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-39155 RJ-45 Cat7 1.5m Black is a networking cable built for reliable, high-speed wired connections. It follows the Cat7 standard to support high data rates and enhanced shielding. The cable is 1.5 meters long and uses gold-plated RJ-45 connectors on both ends. A black outer sheath provides a discreet appearance suitable for home and office setups.

Advantages

Shielded with S/FTP construction, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in crowded wiring environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors deliver stable contact and corrosion resistance for longer-lasting connections. The 1.5 m length balances reach and tidiness, minimizing excess slack while allowing flexible placement of network devices. The Cat7 specification provides headroom for high-bandwidth applications and future-proofing within supported network hardware limits.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, and network switches within short to medium distances
• Wired connections for routers, modems, and access points in home or small office networks
• High-bandwidth tasks such as HD video streaming, online gaming, and file transfers over local networks
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where S/FTP shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert each gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the corresponding RJ-45 port on your network devices until the latch clicks into place. Use the 1.5 m cable to link routers, switches, network-attached storage, computers, or other Ethernet-enabled devices. Ensure ports are configured for the intended network speed and duplex settings where applicable. For tidy installation, route the cable along edges or use clips and cable ties to secure it and avoid sharp bends that could stress the conductors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, pair this Cat7 cable with network equipment that supports Gigabit Ethernet or higher. Avoid kinking or sharply bending the cable; maintain gentle curves and secure connections to preserve shielding effectiveness and connector life. Keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines when possible to reduce residual interference.
