Netwerkkabel shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 1m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable, 1 meter in length and finished in black, is designed to support high-speed data transfer with reduced interference. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this cable provides reliable connectivity for wired networks and is suitable for modern Ethernet standards where Cat7 performance is required.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around individual pairs and the overall bundle minimizes crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, which helps maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and resist corrosion over time. The 1 m length offers a compact connection option that reduces excess cable clutter while providing full Cat7 performance for short runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers to network switches or routers in home or office environments
• Short-distance links between network equipment such as patch panels and wall outlets
• High-bandwidth applications including HD video streaming, online gaming, and large file transfers
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and improved signal stability

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 cable supporting higher frequency ranges than Cat6/Cat5e
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) for per-pair and overall shielding
• Length: 1 meter
• Connector type: RJ-45 plug on both ends
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Color: Black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on devices such as a computer, switch, router, or wall socket until the latch clicks into place. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, kinks, or placing the cable alongside high-power electrical lines, and ensure connectors are fully seated. Use the 1 m length for tidy, short connections where distance between devices is limited.

Recommendations

For optimal signal performance, route the cable away from sources of electromagnetic interference, secure it with cable ties without over-tightening, and inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage. Replace the cable if connectors show signs of wear or if network errors persist after troubleshooting.
