Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-22076 10m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-22076 10m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable provides a reliable wired connection for home and office networks. This Cat6 cable supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s and uses U/UTP shielding to reduce external interference. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated with gold, the cable is designed for consistent signal transmission and a durable contact surface. The 10-meter length and white jacket allow flexible placement and a neutral appearance in most installations.

Advantages

The cable combines Category 6 performance with unshielded twisted pair construction and an overall U/UTP jacket to balance flexibility and electromagnetic noise resistance. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve corrosion resistance and contact quality, helping maintain stable throughput. A 10 m length covers typical room-to-room or equipment-to-switch connections without requiring extensions. The white outer sheath offers an unobtrusive look for residential or commercial environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops and network printers to a router or switch
• Wiring networked media players, smart TVs and game consoles
• Structured cabling within offices, meeting rooms or home networks
• Temporary or permanent connections in server closets and network racks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding type: U/UTP (overall jacket with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Nominal length: 10 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Outer color: white

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (PC, switch, router or media device) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinch points and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or unshielded power cables. For wall-mounted installations, allow slack for future re-routing and secure the cable with cable ties or clips rated for network cabling.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 cable for Gigabit network segments and applications where consistent wired throughput matters. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for long distances and maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter. When connecting to shielded equipment, verify grounding practices; the U/UTP design does not provide individual pair shielding.
