Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-27010 grijs 0,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-27010 is a 0.5 m grey networking cable that supports Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP) performance for high-speed data transmission. With gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and a shielded design, the cable is intended for reliable wired connections in home and office networks and is backward compatible with earlier Ethernet standards.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal stability at higher data rates. Gold-plated contacts ensure corrosion resistance and consistent contact quality. The Cat6a specification and 10,000 Mbit/s data rate support high-bandwidth applications while the compact 0.5 m length is suitable for short connections between nearby devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers over short distances
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, large file transfers and VoIP
• Home and small office network patching

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a compatible port on a switch, router or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Use the cable for short-range connections where a 0.5 m length is sufficient and avoid sharp bends or excessive tension to preserve cable integrity.

Recommendations

The cable is optimized for short patching runs in home and office environments; for longer distances or outdoor installations, choose an appropriately rated cable and follow local installation standards.
