Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35013 0,5 m Cat7 U/UTP groen

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35013 0.5m Cat7 U/UTP Green is a short, high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed for professional network connections. This 0.5 metre cable complies with Category 7 specifications and uses U/UTP shielding to reduce external interference while maintaining flexible handling. Equipped with standard RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, it supports high-speed data transfer up to 10,000 Mbit/s and is suitable for dense rack and desktop installations where a compact, reliable link is required.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat7 specification ensures support for high bandwidth and reliable signal integrity. U/UTP shielding offers protection from electromagnetic interference without significantly increasing cable stiffness, and gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve conductivity and resist corrosion. Its 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter in tight spaces, and the green jacket provides easy visual identification in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between networking equipment in closets and racks
• Connecting network devices on desktop workstations
• High-speed Ethernet links for servers, switches and NAS devices
• Structured cabling where clear cable labeling and color coding are required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 0.5 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall foil shield, unshielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Color: green

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until a click confirms secure seating. Use this 0.5 m cable for short connections between switches, patch panels, routers, servers or desktop NICs. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and do not exceed the recommended bend radius to maintain performance. For permanent installations, route the cable alongside other patch cables or within cable management trays to keep connections accessible and organized.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, pair this Cat7 U/UTP cable with compatible Cat7 or higher-rated equipment and avoid running the cable in close parallel with high-voltage power lines. Regularly inspect connector contacts for debris and ensure that ports are free from dust to maintain consistent 10,000 Mbit/s throughput.
