Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35062 Cat7 U/UTP 7,5 m RJ-45 geel

ShiverPeaks BS08-35062 Cat7 U/UTP 7.5 m RJ-45 yellow is a high-performance network cable designed for fast wired connections in home and office environments. With Category 7 specification and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable supports high data transfer rates up to 10 000 Mbit/s and offers a visible yellow jacket for simple identification in cable runs. The U/UTP construction provides individually screened pairs without an overall shield, delivering stable signal quality for demanding LAN and server links while remaining flexible enough for typical installation scenarios.

Advantages

The cable features gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion over time. Its Cat7 classification ensures compatibility with modern high-speed network equipment and supports greater bandwidth than lower-category cables. The 7.5 m length balances reach and neat routing for many desktop-to-switch or patch-panel connections, and the yellow outer sheath aids quick visual tracing among other cables.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between computers and switches
• Server rack patching and short interconnects
• Home network wiring where clear cable identification is required
• Office desk-to-wall or desk-to-patch-panel cabling

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Topology: U/UTP (individual pair screening, no overall shield)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10 000 Mbit/s
• Conductor material: copper (solid/stranded dependent on production)
• Outer jacket color: yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network interface of your device and the other end to a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the clip engages to prevent accidental disconnection. For rack or cabinet installations, route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separated from high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference. If terminating into keystone jacks or routers with fixed ports, confirm the cable length and routing allow for tidy strain relief.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks; maintain bending radius greater than four times the cable diameter. Use the yellow color to label or group related runs for easier maintenance. For environments with strong electromagnetic interference or where an overall shield is required, consider a fully shielded cable instead of U/UTP.
