IRIX Cine 65mm T1.5 PL-Mount cinema prime objectief (metrisch)

Cinematographers often struggle to find a lens that delivers both razor-sharp detail and a beautifully organic bokeh without breaking the bank. The IRIX Cine 65mm T1.5 solves this by combining a fast T1.5 aperture, full-frame coverage, and professional cine-style mechanics in a robust, weather-sealed body. Its 65mm focal length offers a natural perspective, ideal for medium shots, portraits, and product cinematography where distortion must be kept to a minimum.

Who is it for

This lens is built for professional filmmakers, videographers, and rental houses who demand consistent, reliable performance on set. It suits those shooting narrative films, commercials, documentaries, and music videos with PL-mount cinema cameras such as RED, ARRI, and Blackmagic Design. The metric focus scale is perfect for focus pullers working in meters, ensuring precise, repeatable focus marks.

Main features

• Fast T1.5 maximum aperture for exceptional low-light performance and shallow depth of field control.
• Full-frame (43.3mm image circle) coverage, compatible with large-format cinema sensors.
• 11-blade iris produces smooth, circular bokeh and pleasing out-of-focus highlights.
• Industry-standard 0.8 MOD gears on focus and iris for seamless integration with follow focus systems.
• Weather-sealed construction protects against dust and moisture, enabling shooting in challenging conditions.
• Interchangeable mount system allows adaptation to different camera mounts (additional mounts sold separately).

Tips

Pair this lens with a matte box and 86mm filters to control exposure and reflections in bright conditions. For focus-critical shots, use a wireless follow focus with lens mapping to take full advantage of the metric scale. Store in a dry cabinet when not in use to preserve the weather sealing and optical coatings.
