Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35074 rood 10 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35074 Red 10 m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable is a 10-metre patch cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Constructed to Cat7 performance, it provides up to 10000 Mbit/s data transfer and uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts. The cable has U/UTP shielding and a red jacket for easy identification in patch panels, server racks, or home network setups.

Advantages

The cable combines Category 7 performance with U/UTP construction to offer stable high-speed transmission while maintaining flexibility suitable for typical installation routes. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors minimise contact resistance and corrosion risk, supporting reliable long-term connections. The 10 m length allows placement flexibility between network devices without the need for additional extenders or couplers, and the red colour helps with cable management and visual identification.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between switches, routers and servers
• Patch panels and structured cabling in office or data center environments
• Home network installations requiring a visible, colour-coded cable
• Connecting network devices where a 10 m reach is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 10 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall shielded, twisted pairs unshielded)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, modem or network card) and the other end to the opposite device or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click and avoid sharp bends or tension on the cable to preserve signal integrity. For installations in racks or along cable trays, route the cable to prevent kinks and keep it separated from strong electromagnetic sources where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable in environments where Cat7-level bandwidth is supported by the connected equipment. Avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to mains power lines. When routing through tight spaces, maintain a bend radius no smaller than manufacturer-recommended limits typical for Ethernet cabling to prevent internal conductor stress.
