Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35091 blauw 20 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35091 Blue 20 m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable provides a long, reliable connection for wired networks requiring high data throughput. Designed for data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s, this 20-metre cable uses Cat7 category wiring with U/UTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure low signal loss and consistent link quality. The cable's blue jacket makes it easy to identify in patch panels and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat7 specification performance with U/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference in typical indoor environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance, while the 20 m length offers flexible placement options across office floors or between network equipment racks. The cable's construction supports high-bandwidth applications and stable connections over its full length.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links up to 10 Gbps in office and data center environments
• Connecting switches, routers, NAS units, and desktop computers
• Structured cabling runs where 20 m length is required
• Environments where reduced interference is desired without individual pair shielding

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 20 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall foil with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbps)
• Color: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your switch, router, or computer and the other plug to the corresponding device to establish a wired connection. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the locking tab engages to prevent accidental disconnection. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and areas with strong electromagnetic sources; secure with cable ties or cable management accessories as needed. For best performance, avoid stretching the cable and maintain the recommended bend radius for Ethernet cables.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 U/UTP cable for permanent horizontal or patch cabling where 20 m length meets your layout. For installations near heavy machinery or strong EMI sources, consider using individually shielded cables or additional grounding methods. Test links after installation with appropriate network testers to confirm throughput and signal integrity.
