Microconnect MC-UTP603B-CONSOLE netwerkkabel zwart 3 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect MC-UTP603B-CONSOLE is a 3 m networking cable built to support reliable data transmission. It conforms to the Cat6 standard, uses U/UTP (unshielded pair with overall braid) construction to reduce interference, and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for improved contact quality. The cable comes in a black finish and is suitable for typical network and console connections.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat6 specification permits higher data rates compared with lower categories, while the U/UTP design helps minimise electromagnetic interference in standard office and home environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts resist corrosion and ensure stable connectivity. With a 3 m length and lightweight construction, the cable is easy to route and installs without strain in patch panels, switches or console ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices such as switches, routers and patch panels
• Console connections to networking equipment using RJ-45 console ports
• Office and home Ethernet cabling requiring Cat6 performance

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the device or console port and the other into the corresponding network device or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For console use, select the appropriate terminal settings on the connected equipment.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 cable for short to medium runs up to 3 m and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power cables. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if the braid or insulation is compromised.
