Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41045 zwart 3 m Cat8 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41045 Black 3m Cat8 F/FTP networking cable is engineered for high-speed wired connections in home and professional environments. This 3-metre cable conforms to Cat8 performance, enabling multi-gigabit data transfer rates suitable for modern network equipment. The F/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and gold-plated RJ‑45 connectors ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance. The black jacket provides a neutral appearance and physical protection for typical installation scenarios.

Advantages

This Cat8 F/FTP cable offers enhanced bandwidth and signal integrity compared with lower-category cables, supporting demanding applications such as 10 Gbps and above in short-reach setups. The foil-over-each-pair plus overall foil shielding minimizes external interference from nearby cables and electronic devices. Gold-plated RJ‑45 connectors improve long-term conductivity and reduce the risk of signal loss at connection points. The 3 m length balances reach and low latency for rack-to-desk or device-to-switch connections.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8 performance suitable for multi-gigabit LANs
• Length: 3 metres
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + foil around each pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Black
• Typical use: Short to medium fixed connections between devices

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the network port on your switch, router or networked device and the other plug to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges; maintain recommended bend radius to preserve shielding and internal pair geometry. For wall or cabinet installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories to avoid strain on the connector ends.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8 F/FTP cable for direct device-to-device links or short patch runs within racks and cabinets. Avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines where possible, and check that connected equipment supports multi-gigabit speeds to take full advantage of the cable's capabilities.
