Netwerkkabel Telegärtner CAT6a 15 m

The Telegärtner CAT6a 15m networking cable is a 15-meter, S/FTP-shielded Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed to meet the Cat6a standard, it supports high-speed data transmission and bandwidths up to 500 MHz. The cable's white jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for visible routing in home or office environments while maintaining signal integrity through individual pair foil and overall braid shielding.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting consistent throughput over longer runs. RJ-45 terminations ensure wide device compatibility with network switches, routers, servers, and desktop equipment. The 15 m length offers flexible placement options without additional patching, and the Cat6a rating supports higher frequencies and improved performance for demanding network applications.

Suitable for

• Wired local area networks (LAN) in homes and small offices
• Connecting switches, routers, NAS devices, and desktop computers
• Audio-visual systems requiring stable high-speed links
• Workstations and remote desks where a longer fixed run is needed

Key specifications

• Length: 15 meters
• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individual pair foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Bandwidth: up to 500 MHz
• Color: white

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch or modem) and the other connector to the target device such as a PC, NAS, or AV component. Route the cable along walls, under desks, or through conduits as needed, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab engages to secure the physical connection and enable proper link detection by network equipment.

Recommendations

For best performance, maintain gentle bend radii and avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Use patch panels or keystone jacks for permanent installations and ensure compatible network hardware to take advantage of Cat6a bandwidth capabilities.
