Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35096 wit 20m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35096 White 20m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in residential and professional environments. This Cat7 cable uses U/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain signal integrity and reliable contact. With support for data transfer rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s and a 20 metre length, it is suitable for linking switches, routers, servers and networked devices where reduced interference and stable throughput are required.

Advantages

The cable's U/UTP construction provides a combination of paired-twist performance with an overall unshielded jacket, offering a balance between protection from crosstalk and installation flexibility. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure consistent electrical contact over repeated insertions. Its Cat7 rating supports higher bandwidth and enhanced performance compared with earlier category cables, while the 20 m length offers extended reach without intermediate patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and modems in home and office networks
• Wired connections to desktop PCs, NAS devices and networked printers
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD video streaming and large file transfers
• Temporary or permanent cabling runs where a 20 m length is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded jacket, individually twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Length: 20 metres
• Colour: white

How to use

Route the cable between network devices avoiding sharp bends and exposure to heavy mechanical stress. Insert the RJ-45 plug fully into the device port until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large motors or unshielded power cables. If multiple cables run in parallel, allow some separation to reduce potential crosstalk and maintain optimum throughput.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 cable for backbone or endpoint connections where higher bandwidth and reduced interference are required. For permanent installations, verify cable routing and strain relief at termination points; for temporary setups, avoid excessive coiling and secure connectors to prevent accidental disconnection.
