Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35151 blauw 1,5 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35151 Blue 1.5m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable is designed for reliable high-speed wired connections in home, office and data center environments. This 1.5 metre Cat7 cable offers RJ-45 terminations on both ends and U/UTP shielding to reduce external electromagnetic interference while maintaining full bandwidth for demanding applications. The cable’s blue sheath provides clear visual identification in structured cabling runs.

Advantages

This Cat7 U/UTP cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is built to preserve signal integrity over short to medium runs. The RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common networking equipment such as switches, routers and patch panels. Its U/UTP construction balances shielding effectiveness with flexibility for easy routing in cable channels and server racks.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections (up to 10 Gbps) in LAN and SOHO networks
• Patch panels and rack-mounted network equipment in offices and server rooms
• Direct device-to-device links between switches, routers and network appliances
• Structured cabling where visual color coding and reliable performance are needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 1.5 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall foil shielding, unshielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum supported data rate: 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbps)
• Color: Blue

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plug on one end of the cable to the Ethernet port of your device and the other end to a compatible network port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure physical connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends, excessive pulling and prolonged exposure to interference sources such as large electrical motors or unshielded power wiring.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, use this Cat7 U/UTP cable for runs within the supported length and avoid bundling large numbers of cables together with high-power electrical lines. Test connections after installation to confirm link speed negotiation at the expected rates and replace connectors or patch panel modules showing wear to maintain network reliability.
