Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-39005 RJ-45 Cat7 0,25 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-39005 RJ-45 Cat7 0.25m Black is a short, high-performance network patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections where space is limited. Built to Cat7 specifications with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this cable supports stable signal transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference in densely cabled environments. Its compact 0.25 m length and black finish make it suitable for tidy, unobtrusive connections between devices, patch panels, and switches.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable uses S/FTP shielding to protect each twisted pair and the overall cable from crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance for consistent data transfer. The short 0.25 m length minimises cable clutter and latency within short-distance links and helps maintain organised racks and workstations. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates with most networking setups.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• Linking devices in server racks or compact networking cabinets
• Point-to-point connections where minimal cable length is required
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where S/FTP shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (Category 7) performance
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 0.25 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the two devices you wish to connect until the latch clicks into place. Use this 0.25 m cable for short-distance links where excess cabling would create clutter or signal issues. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that ports are powered or active as required by your network devices. When disconnecting, press the latch on the connector before pulling to avoid damage.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting of the cable and keep it clear of high-voltage power lines. Use the short 0.25 m length for direct, point-to-point connections inside racks or behind equipment to reduce cable loops and improve airflow.
