Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-39055 RJ-45 Cat7 5 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-39055 RJ-45 Cat7 5m Black is a 5-meter network cable built to Cat7 specification with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors. Designed to support high-speed Ethernet and reliable data transfer, this cable features gold-plated contact surfaces for improved conductivity and a black outer jacket for a discreet installation. It is suitable for connecting network devices where shielded cabling and reduced interference are required.

Advantages

Cat7 wiring and S/FTP shielding provide enhanced protection against electromagnetic and crosstalk interference, improving signal integrity for demanding network environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts reduce contact resistance and help maintain stable connections over repeated plug cycles. The 5 m length offers flexibility for home and office installations while the durable outer jacket and factory-terminated connectors simplify installation and long-term use.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches and routers within home or office networks
• High-speed internet access and Gigabit/10 Gigabit Ethernet links over short to medium runs
• Environments where foil and braid shielding is needed to reduce interference
• Structured cabling between wall outlets and network equipment

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Category 7 (Cat7)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on your switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the retaining clip clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal quality. For installations in conduit or behind walls, check local regulations and ensure the cable is suitable for the intended environment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs as short as practical for the required layout and avoid tight bends with radii smaller than recommended for structured cabling. Use shielded network hardware and properly grounded patch panels or outlets when deploying S/FTP cables to ensure effective shielding performance.
