Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41010 0,5m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41010 0.5m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed for high-speed local connections. Compliant with Cat8.1 standards and featuring F/FTP shielding, this grey 0.5 metre cable provides a compact link between devices where minimal length and strong signal integrity are required. RJ-45 connectors with gold plating ensure consistent contact and reduced corrosion, while the construction supports data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s for demanding network environments.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal stability in dense cabling environments. The Cat8.1 specification enables very high bandwidth and low latency connections suitable for modern network equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer durable, low-resistance connections that maintain performance over repeated insertions. The 0.5 m length helps minimize cable clutter and signal loss in short-distance patching scenarios.

Suitable for

• Short-distance patching between switches, routers and servers in racks
• High-speed connections in data centers and server rooms
• Direct links for network testing and diagnostics
• Connections where reduced cable slack and tidy cabling are required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall + individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Color: grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors firmly into compatible network ports on switches, routers, servers or network adapters until the latch clicks. Use the cable for short links where minimal length is advantageous, avoiding unnecessary bends or tight kinks that could affect shielding and performance. For installations in high-density racks, route the cable along cable management channels to maintain airflow and access.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in environments where both high bandwidth and reduced interference are required. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines; maintain gentle bend radii and secure connections to prevent strain on the RJ-45 plugs. For longer runs, select appropriately rated longer cables to preserve signal integrity.
