Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41021 blauw 1m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41021 Blue 1m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is engineered for high-speed wired connections in demanding network environments. Compliant with the Cat8.1 standard and built with F/FTP shielding, this 1-metre cable offers robust protection against electromagnetic interference and maintains signal integrity for short-range, high-bandwidth links. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, it supports data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and is suitable for modern server, switch and workstation connections where maximum throughput and low latency are required.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 F/FTP cable provides enhanced noise immunity through foil shielding around individual pairs plus an overall foil wrap, reducing crosstalk and external interference. The RJ-45 terminations with gold-plated contacts ensure reliable electrical contact and corrosion resistance for consistent performance. The 1 m length keeps patching tidy in rack or desktop setups while the blue jacket enables easy visual identification within cable bundles or structured cabling installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed connections between switches, servers and network appliances in data centers
• Short-run patching in server racks and network cabinets
• Workstation to switch connections requiring low latency and high bandwidth
• Home lab and professional setups where Cat8.1 performance is needed over short distances

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + foil around each pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 m
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Cable color: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your switch, router or network device and the other end to the target device’s Ethernet port. Ensure ports are rated to handle high-speed links and that connected devices are configured for the appropriate speed and duplex settings. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; the short 1 m length is intended for close-proximity patching and direct connections in racks or desktop setups.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth links where shielded cabling is required. Verify that both connected devices support the targeted data rates and use proper cable management to maintain bend radius and shielding effectiveness.
