Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41031-4 2 m Cat8.1 F/FTP blauw

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41031-4 2m Cat8.1 F/FTP Blue networking cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. It complies with Cat8.1 specifications and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to ensure reliable contact and lower signal loss. Its 2 meter length and blue jacket make it practical for visible routing and standard patching between switches, routers, modems and network devices.

Advantages

The cable supports the Cat8.1 standard for high bandwidth and improved performance compared with lower category cables. F/FTP shielding (foil overall with individually foiled pairs) provides enhanced protection from external interference and crosstalk, which helps maintain stable connections in environments with multiple electronic devices. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer corrosion resistance and consistent contact quality. The 2 m length balances reach and cable management for typical desk-to-switch or rack patching scenarios.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in small office and home networks
• High-speed data links for NAS, servers and workstations
• Short-distance connections in data closets and server racks
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cables are preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil with foiled twisted pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connector: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Color: Blue

How to use

Plug RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on network devices such as switches, routers, modems, NAS units or computers. Ensure connectors are inserted until the locking tab clicks to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For rack installations, use cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and reduce strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium-length high-bandwidth links where improved shielding and reduced crosstalk are required. Verify that connected devices support the intended data rates and that patching within the network maintains consistent shielding continuity for best performance.
