Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41036 2m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41036 2m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in home and professional network environments. Complying with Cat8.1 standards and built with F/FTP shielding, this white cable supports very high data transmission rates and reliable signal integrity over short runs. The cable terminates in gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for reduced contact resistance and improved durability, making it suitable for demanding applications where fast and stable Ethernet links are required.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat8.1 performance with foil-shielded F/FTP construction to minimize crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent electrical contact and resistance to corrosion. At 2 meters length, the cable balances reach and signal quality for rack, workstation, or home network setups. The white jacket offers a neutral aesthetic that blends into many interior environments.

Suitable for

• Short-run high-bandwidth connections between switches, routers and servers
• Workstation or desktop connections requiring low latency and high throughput
• Home media servers, NAS devices and gaming setups demanding stable wired links
• Professional network cabinets and patch panels where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil shielding with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 2 m
• Color: White
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your switch, router or network device and the other end to the target device. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical link. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends near the connectors and route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the 2 m length for short-distance links within racks, between wall outlets and nearby devices, or across desks.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in shielded or grounded network environments to take full advantage of its foil shielding. Do not exceed the recommended installation bend radius and avoid unnecessary tension on the cable to preserve signal integrity and connector life.
